Queer the Table

The new podcast Queer the Table just launched on Heritage Radio! Robin and I will be featured in a future episode.

A show about the joyful, messy, radical magic that happens in spaces where queerness and food intersect. In conversation with farmers, chefs, activists, historians, seed savers and business babes, host Nico Wisler [they/them] explores the idea of “queer food” in all of its limitless forms.

GRLSQUASH

Reminder: GRLSQUASH is fundraising to print their third issue, Taking Root, and pay their contributors. They’re almost halfway there!

GRLSQUASH is a biannual journal about the intersections of food, art and culture written by and for “womxn, femmes, queer, gender non-conforming, agender, and trans folks, especially POC,” and I’ll be repping the queer nonbinary femme angle with a short piece on gardening as a mindfulness practice for PTSD recovery. There’s also a donation level that sends money toward abortion funds, so check it out!
