In Midwestern Transplant Presents: The Jello Salad Mystery, the Midwestern Transplant receives a mysterious message and spends quarantine tracking down the origins of Strawberry Pretzel Salad recipe. No apocryphal “it is said to have originated in the South” here–I found what appears to be the original recipe from Brentwood, Pennsylvania, 1960. (Sorry for the spoiler, but I’m hoping to set the record straight on the internet, too!)
This zine was risograph-printed by Paper Press Punch in Seattle, WA, and includes illustrations, original art, and text. 20 pages.
